The Berlin-based Si Us Instruments® GmbH was founded in 2013 and is located in Berlin Adlershof. It produces surgical instruments made of stainless steel as well as single-use surgical sets and offers a unique range of products worldwide. The range includes over 1,500 different surgical instruments. Among them are very finely crafted instruments, which are used, for example, in microsurgery or ophthalmology. The instruments are made of medical stainless steel and are intended for single use. The company also offers pre-packaged surgical sets for standard operations or according to customer requirements. After use, the products are properly disposed of, recycled and returned to the steel industry for reuse.
Customers benefit above all from consistent quality and constant availability of the instruments. Especially in hospitals, loss and wear of medical instruments are high. The production facility was built in 2016. In the process, all regulatory requirements were implemented in accordance with laws and standards that already exist and will become valid in the near future. It was also approved and authorized according to German standards by the certification body DQS Med. Only approved manufacturers are allowed to sell their products on the German market. The production facility has state-of-the-art, future-proof equipment such as Miele washer-disinfectors. Cleanroom packaging takes place under strict quality standards and in a controlled environment.
